Mark Olsen
MK. Olsen was born and raised in Northern Minnesota within a conservative Christian household. After completing his college degree, he was drafted into the army and served in Vietnam. Upon returning, he pursued further studies, earning a Master’s degree in English from the university. Following several years working in construction, he transitioned into education, becoming a high school English teacher in the Los Angeles area.
In 2004, he received the prestigious Carlston Foundation award, recognising him as one of the top five teachers in California at a minority school. After retiring from teaching, he authored his first book, The Layman’s Guide to Experiences in God Realization, which achieved international best-seller status. A proud parent and grandparent, Olsen now divides his time between California and Minnesota.
